The investigation into the death of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas has taken a new turn as the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) seized surveillance footage from a Hollywood Hills home previously rented by the musician D4vd. The teenager, who went missing in Lake Elsinore in 2024, was found dead in an impounded Tesla registered to D4vd last month, raising numerous questions about her death and any possible connection to the singer.

The footage, obtained from various security cameras at the rental property, could provide crucial insights into the case. According to HotNewHipHop, the property's landlord, Malden Trifunovic, confirmed the presence of external cameras that captured anyone entering or leaving the premises. However, Trifunovic stated he had no access to the footage due to privacy agreements with renters and thus could not confirm if Rivas had ever visited the house.

In addition to the police investigation, Trifunovic has hired a private investigator to further explore the circumstances surrounding Rivas' death. As reported by The Economic Times, the private investigator's work is ongoing, and no findings have been shared yet. The LAPD has not named D4vd as a suspect, and they have urged anyone with information to contact the Robbery-Homicide Division or LA Crime Stoppers.

The investigation remains active, with both the police and private investigator working to uncover more details. Any new information will be released by the LAPD's Media Relations Division as it becomes available.
