I'm still trying to figure out how they wind up getting booked when they weren't even behind the wheel.

The rapper’s mom, who is also his manager, says those claims are bogus, and says her son was profiled by law enforcement when in town for an album release party. Once the car Polo was riding in was pulled over, he got into an argument with an officer which quickly escalated and got physical.

Polo’s mom, Stacia Mac tweeted “None of these charges would be possible if the POLICE did not make contact with my son Polo G!!! He was NOT the driver. He was a PASSENGER in a professionally licensed vehicle with security. He was moving smart and correctly. What more could he have done.” Stacia says that the car was actually pulled over when the driver cut off a police officer, but after the traffic stop, it was only Polo and his 16-year-old brother who were taken into custody. Polo tweeted on Sunday "One of the officers told us they was on us since we got off our jet." (TMZ)
